The simple life

Life would be simpler if I could just tell you that I can't get you of my mind;
It would be easier if I could just let you know that you are the first thing I think of when I wake up, and the last when I fall asleep;
Life would be simpler if I just didn't care where we are going, and didn't care how hurt I might be if I just let go;
Life would be a blast if I could get in that plane with you...
Instead I am left here thinking of how simple life could be and pretending I am not playing the game.
